In college I majored in Physical Education and Outdoor Recreation Major in one of the NY State Colleges and then completed my degree at the University of Northern Colorado. While I planned to work for the BLM “life” happened and I was lucky enough to marry my wife of over 41 years. As a family we moved with our Daughter from Colorado to Wyoming and then here to Las Vegas in 1982.
In 1985 I began to work for Citigroup and after 18 yrs I left as a Vice President I moved to AAA Insurance as a Sr. Manager (Claims, Projects and Area Sales). I then went to Farmers Insurance in the District office and ultimately decided to build my own Agency from scratch. After 8 years associated with Farmers we re-emerged as an Independent Full Service Insurance Agency with the ability to help clients with most of their needs from Auto and Home to Business insurance to Life and Health. Our guiding principles are an unwavering commitment to doing what is “Right” in every instance. We focus on 3 simple things. 1st – we live by the credo of Honesty, Integrity and Ethical conduct. 2nd – we would rather Educate our clients than ‘sell” to them. Ivan Batista was born in the city that never sleeps, the Bronx in New York City. Ivan traveled from Las Vegas to New York off and on as a child but officially moved to Las Vegas when he was in elementary school. At the age of ten he was introduced to combat training by his brother and he slowly grew a passion for the sport. At the age of thirteen Ivan began training with professional fighters from all around the world, many of whom were in the UFC, Bellator MMA, and the World Series of Fighting. While going to college Ivan explored a few different career opportunities. He worked as a Production Assistant on Las Vegas sets for shows like Michael Jackson Live and also used his combat skills to apprehend criminals while working surveillance for largescale retailors. While working in the retail setting Ivan discovered he had an aptitude in sales and management. This led him to explore the option of becoming his own business owner. After exploring several business opportunities in Nevada Ivan and his girlfriend discovered a franchise that was not being run to its full potential. Together they purchased Molly Maid of Central Las Vegas where Ivan heads up Operations and Sales and has grown the business over 150% since acquiring it. The couple choose Molly Maid because helping people is something that they both find very rewarding.
